Overall, I enjoyed this book funny and unexpected book. At least an epilogue would have helped the case, but we didn’t get one of those either. I guess things were mostly wrapped up, but it didn’t feel like the book should be ending. ![]() I was also a bit dissatisfied with the ending. It’s not until quite a ways into the book that actionable things begin to take place. It just kinda felt like I was watching a semi-boring “life in the day” video. Things were happening and the plot was moving forward, but there weren’t very many actionable moments (if that makes sense). Some of my dislikes of this book come from the fact that this book was kinda slow. In general, I loved to see how she made the most out of her situation and ended up where she did in the end. She makes a lot of mistakes throughout the book, but most of them come out of well-intended actions. It was so great to get to know her and see her progress in this book. ![]() I think I would have loved to have her as a friend when I was a teenager. ![]() She was hilarious (mostly without meaning to be), loyal, and a blast to be around. Sunny was such a great character to get to know. It was funny, imaginative, and still had hints of things that make summer camp books so great. This was an enjoyable summer camp book that was different than most summer camp books.
